2. Data processed and purposes

2.1 Website visits and server log files

When you visit our website, the hosting provider automatically processes technically necessary data in server log files, including the IP address of the requesting device (shortened or pseudonymised where possible), date and time of access, requested page, amount of data transferred, browser and operating system, and referrer URL where transmitted.

This processing is necessary to provide the website and maintain system security. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable website operation).

2.2 Contact form

When you submit an enquiry through our contact form, we process the data you provide: name, company, email address, selected service and message. For technical reasons, the date and time of the enquiry and your IP address may also be processed to prevent misuse, such as spam.

We use this data to handle your enquiry, prepare an offer and, where applicable, take steps prior to entering into a contract. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns a contract, or Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR where you have given consent.

2.3 Google Ads conversion measurement

With your consent, we use the Google Ads service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The Google tag with ID AW-993309014 helps us measure whether a visit or interaction on this website can be attributed to a Google Ads campaign and helps us assess the performance of our advertising.

After you accept advertising cookies, Google may process information such as your consent status, IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, interactions on the website, Google click identifiers and conversion events. We do not use the tag to upload contact-form contents or other data you enter into the form. If you submit the contact form successfully after consenting, we send Google Ads a conversion event to record that an enquiry was sent; the event does not include the form fields or message.

The legal basis for storing or accessing information on your device is your consent under Section 25(1) TDDDG. The legal basis for the related processing of personal data is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw or change your choice at any time using the button in Section 5 below.

3. Storage, locations and retention

Contact-form data, business email and server logs are stored and processed exclusively in Germany. Google Ads conversion data is processed by Google in accordance with Google’s applicable terms and privacy documentation and may be processed outside the EU/EEA, including in the United States.

• Enquiries without a contract: up to six months after the last communication;
• Business correspondence and offer documents: up to ten years where commercial or tax retention obligations apply (Section 147 AO, Section 257 HGB);
• Server logs: a few days, up to a maximum of 30 days.

Where statutory retention obligations apply, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. Data is deleted or anonymised after the relevant retention period expires.

4. Disclosure of data

We disclose personal data only where you have explicitly consented, disclosure is necessary for contract performance (for example, to shipping or logistics providers), or a legal obligation requires it. Where you have consented to Google Ads conversion measurement, Google Ireland Limited and associated Google service providers may receive the data described in Section 2.3.

5. Cookies, Google Ads and your choice

We use a consent prompt for advertising cookies. Before you accept, Google Ads storage and advertising-related data use are set to denied. If you accept, Google Ads may set or access cookies and process data for conversion measurement. Rejecting advertising cookies does not affect the essential operation of this website or the contact form.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, destruction, unauthorised access and unauthorised disclosure. These measures include up-to-date systems and security software, restricted access to business email and locally stored data, and regular review of our security measures.
